Hilton Hotel in Tyson’s Corner
Soft, sweet and completely lovely all describe Hannah & Michael’s D.C. Wedding!
Johnna and I were contacted by a sweet bride who found us through a wedding website we use to do the paper products and planning for her dream day. I check out her Pinterest board and got an idea of what she was looking for in prep for our first meeting and I could tell she had an amazing sense of style!
Hannah and Mike envisioned a “rustic chic” wedding full of pastels, lush flowers, and very intimate feel which is exactly how the big day turned out! The wedding was held in the gorgeous Hilton Hotel of Tyson’s Corner in their grand ballroom, decorated with flowers by Anita’s Florals of Stafford and paper products by Johnna of Twila & Co (my favorite designer to work with hehe).
This beautiful couple offered a phenomenal plated dinner provided by Harth, the Hilton’s in house restaurant and followed up with a 3 tier cake by The Icing Company. After the hard work of planning and set up is complete, it’s so rewarding to sit back and bask in the love of the ceremony. One of Twila & Co.’s favorite officiants, Tamara Riley, guided Hannah and Mike through their vows and brought tears to every guest’s eye.
To capture each moment of this wedding, Callie Hardman Photography (One of my absolute FAVORITE vendors…ever) came up from Newport News and shot the wedding. Last but not least; this wedding requires a major reward to the M.V.V. – Most Valuable Vendor. HOBBY LOBBY. Shout out to all of the staff at Hobby Lobby for keeping stocked with every shade, size, and grain cut of burlap a bride, and her planner, could ever hope for, without you this wedding would not be complete.
Hannah and Mike – it was a true pleasure to be your wedding planner and stylist. You two are such sweethearts and I am so honored to have shared in you special day. All my love && best wishes!
