I can't believe it's Friday. These week has been a complete whirlwind! Coming back from vacation is always tough because 1. you still wanna be on vacation and 2. you have to catch up on everything you missed while you were gone. I've been working from home for almost 2 years now. And as somewhat of a 'home-body' already, working from home is both wonderful and terrible. I never want to leave. I LOVE sitting in my little office space to work, and I get really sad when I get so busy that I don't get enough of it. It's my space, my sanctuary, and it's where I feel most comfortable.
I created the space just for ME and for being able to create and work. It's where my new brand really stemmed from. If you look at all of my decor (which I've had for a long time) it really reflects the colors and feel that I have created for the new brand. And I am absolutely loving that everything now feels cohesive.
If you're doing a rebrand, I encourage you to take a look at your home/office/surroundings as a place to start. Most likely, it's already a reflection of who you are and what you love and may be an inspiration.
When Hope came to photograph my new brand, I also asked her to take a few shots of my office space to share. And as always, she did an amazing job. And even thought I HATE having my picture taken, she talked me into getting a few photos of me doing what I love: painting. And they actually turned out really great! I don't look too terrible, even though I'm wearing my painting clothes!
