Rustic Italian, Southern Elegance Styled Shoot

Happy Friday, Friends!

We're back from Chicago after a long 2 days of traveling, and I couldn't be happier to be home! There's a lot going on for the holiday season and I have a lot to do to get ready. So today's blog is going to be short other than some really pretty pictures!

I had the opportunity to get some invitations to SFH Events early this year for a beautiful rustic italian, southern elegance styled shoot. The colors of the shoot are just to die for. And Safa was so easy to please and work with that this shoot was a breeze. It's always a great day when you receive photos from the shoot you worked on and see how beautifully it all turned out.

Thanks so much for including me, Safa! I hope to work with you again soon.

Summer Harvest Rehearsal

Happy Friday, y'all! What a week it's been. I can't even believe it. Seriously. Dreams came true and the papergoods I made for a recent styled shoot were featured on Style Me Pretty all thanks to Alicia of Alicia Jayne Florals who put together literally my favorite shoot EVER. Wait til you see these images by Birds of a Feather Photography. They are STUNNING.

Alicia approached me over the summer about a farm to table rehearsal and wanted an invitation, recipe cards, menus, popcorn bags and signs. And I mean, I loved working with the watercolor fruits and veggies, but BOAF made them look SO GOOD. I am absolutely blown away.

Can we also talk about all that food?? It makes me so hungry it looks delicious. So I'm sorry that I'm not sorry for sharing so many images, but I just love them all so much that I can't NOT share them.

Hope Taylor Photography August Workshop

Happy, happy Friday!

After another busy week, I am heading to Richmond with the pup for a much needed girls weekend. Is it 5 yet? Because I'm so ready to get on the road!

Since it's Friday, I'll keep it short and sweet and get right to the photos.

It's always such so much fun when I get to work with Hope Taylor. I don't even really consider it work because we always have so much fun! Not to mention she always outdoes herself with these gorgeous shoots and photos. Each styled shoot just gets better and better and I love seeing the results. She is so talented!

Her latest workshop was another GORGEOUS event full of delightful details. As usual, I was so excited to be a part of the workshop and donate some paper goods for the attendees. I created Sponsor Sheets, Workshop Timelines and a Workshop Map.

Thanks again, Hope, for letting me be a part of this!

Have a great weekend, ya'll!

Phi Mu Themed Styled Shoot

I'm so excited to finally share this photoshoot with you that's so dear to my heart. I had the wonderful opportunity to do a 'Southern Blush' Inspired Styled Shoot...aka a Phi Mu inspired shoot. If you don't know, I was a Phi Mu at Christopher Newport University and I absolutely loved it. I had amazing sisters who are still some of my best friends to this day, and it taught me so many valuable life lessons that I still use today.

That said, when Lindsay Fauver of Lindsay Fauver Photography contacted me about doing a shoot filled with carnations and blush pinks and quatrefoils, I couldn't say yes fast enough. I just loved doing the invitation suite for this and incorporated all things Phi Mu: a quatrefoil shaped invitation and touches of pink, and Lindsay did an amazing job capturing it on camera.

It's also featured on the Lavalier Magazine Blog today, so be sure to check it out!
